Meet The Worthy Momma
Hi! I'm Amber, and I've been fascinated by birth for as long as I can remember.
While most six-year-olds were watching cartoons, I was watching A Baby Story on TLC, completely captivated by the strength of mothers and the miracle of bringing new life into the world. Looking back, it probably should have been my first clue that this was exactly where I was meant to be.
As I grew older, that fascination became a dream. By middle school, I already knew the name I wanted for my future daughter. More than anything, I wanted to become a mother.
In 2016, I married my high school sweetheart, and together we've built a beautiful family. We welcomed our first daughter, Annabelle, in 2018 after taking a six-week childbirth education course that completely changed how I viewed birth. Walking into labor with knowledge, confidence, and the support of my husband gave me an empowering birth experience that forever changed me. I left knowing I wanted every woman to feel that same confidence and strength.
A few years later, I welcomed my second daughter, Alina, at Holy Family Birth Center. Then, in 2022, I welcomed our youngest daughter, Dakota, into the very same birth suite through the peaceful water birth I had dreamed about for years. Each birth looked different, but each one reminded me how powerful education, preparation, and compassionate support can be.
Between those beautiful moments came the hardest season of our lives.
In 2019, our family lost our sweet Annabelle in a tragic car accident. Becoming a bereaved mother forever changed me. It also gave me a deep understanding of grief, pregnancy after loss, and the importance of having someone who truly sees you and walks beside you without judgment.
I also experienced postpartum depression, which strengthened my passion for supporting mothers not only during birth but throughout the postpartum journey. Every family's story is different, and every mother deserves to feel heard, supported, and never alone.
Before becoming a doula, I spent eleven years as a teacher. Education has always been at the heart of who I am. After transitioning into remote sales, I finally took the leap I'd dreamed about for years. In 2026, I became a certified birth doula and childbirth educator, combining my love of teaching with my lifelong passion for birth.
Today, I have the privilege of serving families throughout Edinburg and the Upper Rio Grande Valley through birth doula support, postpartum care, and childbirth education.
Whether you're planning a hospital birth, birth center birth, home birth, or you're simply looking for someone to walk beside you through pregnancy and postpartum, my goal is always the same:
To help you feel seen, heard, prepared, and confident in every decision you make.
Because birth isn't about having the 'perfect' experience.
It's about having the knowledge, support, and confidence to welcome your baby in a way that feels right for your family.
And I would be honored to be part of that journey with you.
